Account Coordinator

WASSER is seeking an enthusiastic and energetic individual to assist our sales process as account coordinator. The successful candidate will participate in and support all sales activities and assist with management of the sales cycle, including cultivating, expanding, and maintaining existing client relationships. The account coordinator will also generate leads, identify and qualify new prospects, set appointments, write proposals, and assist in closing business with new clients.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Meet and maintain specific lead-generation and sales goals
  • Initiate unsolicited outbound calls to leads, to generate new clients
  • Identify and qualify new prospects
  • Assist business development with maintaining and expanding existing client base
  • Assist with bid writing
  • Collect and report sales results
  • Manage and update sales-management database to track new leads and build on existing ones
  • Represent the company at external marketing or industry events
  • Help administer quarterly mailings and follow-up sales calls

ASP.NET Developer (contract/freelance)

Candidates for this position will offer support and change fulfillment for a wide variety of existing Website projects, as well as new projects under development. Browser-based applications include e-commerce sites, content-management systems, business-workflow management, and intranet portals. The primary development technologies include ASP.NET 1.x and 2.0, Microsoft SQL Server, and XML. This part-time, contract position is available as of January 2009.

Required Experience:

  • Four+ years’ experience programming ASP.NET 1.x and 2.0, using either Microsoft Visual Basic or C# (familiarity with both languages preferred)
  • Significant experience building and designing secure database solutions for high-end browser-based business tools
  • Experience developing SQL Server databases (SQL Server 2008 desired)
  • Experience working with XML, including schemas, XPath, and transformations
  • Strong background in HTML/XHTML and CSS
  • Ability to write clean, documented code
  • Strong verbal- and written-communication skills and team-collaboration skills

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience applying sound development standards and practices, such as source control, versioning, bug tracking, and unit testing

Entry-Level Web Designer (contract/freelance)

Candidates for this position must have a creative mind, an eye for detail, efficient production practices, and a self-motivated desire to produce high-quality work. The designer’s involvement will include working with the creative director and design team to create original design concepts, develop storyboards and/or prototypes, produce final art suited for online use, and build standards-based Web sites.

Candidates will have two- to four-years’ experience working with Web-based projects. This contract position will require approximately 20–30 hours per week, with a good portion of the work to be done onsite at WASSER’s Seattle office. Sales Representative

The successful candidate will generate leads, identify and qualify new prospects, gather requirements, write proposals, and assist in closing business with new clients. Web Developer/Office SharePoint (contract/freelance)

WASSER is looking for a detail-oriented Microsoft Office SharePoint developer to join our team, to focus on Office SharePoint technical tasks for some of our key clients. Candidates for this position will be responsible for providing publishing and technical support to several of our clients’ intranets and extranets.

Responsibilties:

  • Integration of Web parts
  • Creation of page templates
  • Ability to customize Office SharePoint to move beyond “out-of-the-box”
  • Converting Photoshop designs into Office SharePoint pages
  • Page building, site testing, and content management, with an eye on quality and a willingness to collaborate with clients and coworkers
  • Ability to offer creative solutions to the question, “Can Office SharePoint do this?”
  • XML experience a plus

Job Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Solid XHTML and CSS skills/hand-coding (three- to five-years’ experience)
