THE CHALLENGE
Swedish Medical Center—a group of hospitals and clinics that is located in Seattle, WA—needed to train staff members in preparation for the implementation of an enterprise-wide patient-data management system.
THE SOLUTION
WASSER assembled a team to create task-based training manuals and job aids, and managed the entire development process. Our instructional designers and writers worked closely with both Swedish Medical Center staff and the system vendor to ensure that medical personnel would have the information that they needed to manage patient care before “going live.” Prior to rollout, training for over 6,000 staff members was developed and delivered on time.
