WASSER worked with the Microsoft Consumer Goods group to provide writing, editing, and layout services for a series of consumer-goods industry-leadership white papers.
THE SOLUTION
Microsoft Consumer Goods is a division of Microsoft that is responsible for providing business managers and IT senior-level staff with information about technology within the consumer-goods/retail industry. Microsoft and WASSER developed a vendor relationship that delivered consistent, quality deliverablesenhanced by bringing a high level of industry and marketing experience to the traditional white-paper content-development process.
The WASSER content-development team was able to deliver an effective solution by working with the Microsoft Consumer Goods group to develop a new documentation template that would ensure that all customer-facing materials were consistent with Microsoft branding guidelines and the Microsoft Manual of Style for Technical Publications (MSTP). Our content team then worked with multiple Microsoft SMEs and partners to create the first two topics for the consumer-goods industry-leadership white papers. The new program was so successful that WASSER was selected to author the entire series of white papers. The Microsoft Consumer Goods group also received requests from other teams to publish content by using the newly developed template.
